🌱 Food for Thought This Week
By Amanda Matos
Just here planting the seed to watch you flourish into a beautifully strong and abundant tree that is unbreakable at any age.
Most of us live in the how.
“How do I lose weight?”
“How do I get stronger?”
“How do I finally reach this goal?”
But here’s the truth — it’s not really about the how.
It’s about aligning your intention, purpose, and feeling with what you’re doing.
When we only focus on the actions, we miss the deeper energy that actually fuels transformation.
✨ Intention: What do I truly want out of this?
✨ Purpose: What role does this action serve in my bigger picture?
✨ Feeling: How do I want to feel while I’m doing it?
Take food, for example. Food isn’t meant to “make you lose weight.” Food is fuel. It’s there to nourish, energize, and support your body through the transitions of life. When you eat from a place of love and intention, you stop fighting with food and start aligning with it.
Or take exercise. You wouldn’t do squats expecting to sculpt your arms, right? Because that’s not their purpose. If your goal is toned arms, you choose the right tool (arm-focused exercises), set the right intention (strength + confidence), and bring the right feeling (joy, energy, self-love) while you move.
This is how you begin to “speak the same language” as your goals — and attract the energy you want back.
And here’s the reminder so many women need to hear:
You can’t punish or shame yourself into the body or life you want. True transformation requires love, joy, and pleasure.
When your intention, purpose, and feeling are in harmony, you stop chasing and start receiving. You move away from quick fixes and into something lasting — a lifestyle that actually feels good to live in.
So this week, ask yourself: What is my intention, what is my purpose, and how do I want to feel while I do this?
That’s where real transformation begins.
To you. To us. To Growth and happiness in our own bodies.
